Construction crews are making progress and more than 12,700 feet of new drinking water pipeline have been installed.
Pipeline installation continues on Palos Verdes Drive North, between Palos Verdes Drive East and Montecillo Drive, from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. There will be at least one lane of traffic open in each direction at all times, with all lanes open during non-work hours.
Crews are expected to begin work on Montecillo Drive, from Casaba Road to Palos Verdes Drive North, the week of October 22. Work will take place Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. There will be at least one lane of traffic open in each direction at all times, with all lanes open during non-work hours.
Residents will start to see pipe deliveries starting the week of November 12 in preparation for construction on Rolling Hills Road and Lariat Lane. Work is expected to take place Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rolling Hills Road will have at least one lane of traffic open in each direction at all times, with all lanes open during non-work hours.
A reminder that the Palomino Ranchos Bridle Trail, between the ballfield and Rolling Hills Road, remains closed to the public. We encourage riders to avoid the work area due to construction-related noise that may startle a horse. For a map of anticipated trail closures and route detours, visit the equestrian page. The Dapplegray Elementary School access road leading to the Rolling Hills Little League ballfield also remains closed as work continues in the area.
Please note that the construction dates provided are estimates, not exact deadlines, and the actual duration of night work may change based on a number of factors, including unknowable field circumstances.
