Pipeline installation on Montecillo Drive, between Encanto Drive and Palos Verdes Drive North, is now complete! Initial paving of this section is expected to continue through the end of this week, between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and final paving of the area is expected to be complete by early next year. We are working closely with the Montecillo Homeowners’ Association to coordinate all necessary details.
Crews have also completed pipeline installation on Palos Verdes Drive North, between Montecillo Drive and Palos Verdes Drive East. There will be minor finishing work done in this section on an ongoing basis. At least one lane of traffic will be open in each direction at all times, with lanes reopening after work hours.
Nightwork will continue on Palos Verdes Drive North, between Dapplegray Lane and Palos Verdes Drive East, to complete minor finishing work and reduce the number of plates in the area. Work will occur from Monday to Friday, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. until the end of January. During this work, vehicles will be able to travel in each direction at all times.
Work is ongoing near the Rolling Hills Little League ballfield until approximately next week as well as in the Palomino Ranchos Bridle Trail, between the ballfield and Rolling Hills Road, until early 2019. A reminder that the Dapplegray Elementary School access road and Palomino Ranchos Bridle Trail remain closed to the public as work continues. Crews are expected to begin work on Lariat Lane, between Rolling Hills Road and end of Lariat Lane, as well as on the Botanic Garden Trail and Botanic Garden Property, between the end of Lariat Lane and Crenshaw Boulevard in December. Work is expected to take place from Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. During work on Lariat Lane, vehicles will be able to travel in each direction at all times. The closure of the Botanic Garden Trail is expected to start as early as next week to facilitate work, beginning with the identification of underground utility lines.
Construction for the new pump station on Crenshaw Boulevard, north of Silver Spur Road, is projected to begin in early December and continue through the end of 2019. Residents will start to see deliveries of materials and other activities to help prepare the area around the pump station site.
