Nightwork is underway on Palos Verdes Drive North, between Dapplegray Lane and Palos Verdes Drive East, as crews are working to remove steel plates in the area and complete other finishing work. Work will occur from Monday to Friday, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. until late January 2019. During this time, vehicles will be able to travel in each direction at all times.
Crews will be conducting minor finishing work on Montecillo Drive, between Encanto Drive and Palos Verdes Drive North, between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Final paving of the area is expected to be completed by early next year. We are working closely with the Montecillo Homeowners’ Association to coordinate all necessary details.
Work is ongoing near the Rolling Hills Little League ballfield as well as in the Palomino Ranchos Bridle Trail, between the ballfield and Rolling Hills Road. A reminder that the Dapplegray Elementary School access road and Palomino Ranchos Bridle Trail remain closed to the public as work continues. Crews are expected to begin preparatory work on Lariat Lane and the Botanic Garden property, between Rolling Hills Road and Crenshaw Boulevard, as early as this week, from Monday to Friday, between 7:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The Botanic Garden Trail will be closed to pedestrians and riders until spring 2019. Residents on Lariat Lane will see deliveries as work commences and riders are encouraged to avoid the work area due to construction-related noise that may startle a horse.
Preparatory work for the new pump station on Crenshaw Boulevard continues, and work is expected to continue through the end of 2019. Residents will start to see crews surveying and clearing of the area to help prepare the pump station site for construction.
