Nightwork is ongoing on Palos Verdes Drive North, between Dapplegray Elementary School and Palos Verdes Drive East, which includes the removal of steel plates in the area and other finishing work. Last week, more than 15 steel plates were removed to allow for a smoother drive and reduced noise for nearby residents. Final paving in this area will take place in January 2019. Work is occurring from Monday to Friday, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. During this time, vehicles will be able to travel in each direction at all times.
Crews are conducting minor finishing work on Palos Verdes Drive North, between Montecillo Drive and Palos Verdes Drive East, from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. At least one lane of traffic will be open in each direction at all times, with lanes reopening after work hours.
Landscape restoration, in addition to other finishing work, is ongoing on Montecillo Drive, between Encanto Drive and Palos Verdes Drive North, and is expected to occur from Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Final paving of the area is expected to be complete by end of January. Nightwork is taking place in the parking lot of the Rolling Hills United Methodist Church, along the Botanic Garden property near Crenshaw Boulevard, and will continue from Monday to Friday, between 7:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. To facilitate this work, pipes will be staged in the Botanic Garden Trail, which remains closed to the public. The parking lot will be accessible during non-work hours.
