Construction Update: 5/1/19

May 1, 2019

REMINDER: For the safety of residents and crews, we kindly ask that you do not move cones in or around construction areas. As work continues, please obey all posted road/trail closure signage, traffic control measures, and personnel. Thank you!

Nightwork is ongoing on the Dapplegray Elementary School property as crews continue to clean and grout the new pipeline from Monday to Friday, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Construction is moving along on the Palomino Ranchos Bridle Trail, continuing east towards the Little League ballfield. Work will take place from Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. During this time, the trail will be closed to the public and we encourage riders to avoid the area due to construction-related noise that could spook a horse. The Dapplegray Elementary School access road will remain closed to the public from Monday to Friday until 3:30 p.m., at which point parents will be able to use the road for little league practices.

Crews continue to install pipeline in the Botanic Garden property, between Crenshaw Boulevard and Rolling Hills Road, from Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. For the safety of equestrians and crews, the Botanic Garden Trail, from Blossom’s Trail to Rolling Hills Road, will remain closed while work is underway in the property and trail.

Work is ongoing at the new pump station site on Crenshaw Boulevard, north of Silver Spur Road. Construction will continue from Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. There will be traffic control on Crenshaw Boulevard during work hours and at least one lane of traffic will be open in each direction at all times.

Please refer to the project timeline on our Map & Timeline page for the latest construction information. As a reminder, all the construction dates outlined in the timeline are estimates and the length of work can change based on several factors, including inclement weather and unknowable field circumstances.
