REMINDER: Please make sure to slow down while driving in construction zones and obey all traffic control signage and personnel.
Crews continue to install new drinking water pipelines on Rolling Hills Road, between Rolling Hills Road (private road) and Lariat Lane, working Monday to Friday, between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Traffic control is in place during work hours and there will be alternating one-way traffic with flaggers at both ends of the work area. We strongly encourage you to avoid Rolling Hills Road, where possible, until all work is complete to avoid increased traffic.
Welding and restoration work continues along the Palomino Rancho Bridle Trail, between Rolling Hills Road and the Rolling Hills Little League ballfield. This work is occurring Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. During construction, the trail will remain closed to the public and we encourage riders to avoid the area due to construction-related noise that could startle a horse.
Pipeline installation continues in the South Coast Botanic Garden property, between Crenshaw Boulevard and the end of Lariat Lane. This work is taking place Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. During construction, the Botanic Garden trail, from Blossom’s Trail to Rolling Hills Road, will remain closed for the safety of crews and equestrians.
Crews will be removing and replacing an existing methane gas line in the Botanic Garden trail along Lariat Lane to prepare for water pipeline installation. Construction will take place Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is expected to last for approximately two weeks. There will be flaggers onsite to help facilitate alternating one-way traffic on Lariat Lane. Residents will have access to their homes at all times.
Crews continue to work at the new pump station site on Crenshaw Boulevard, north of Silver Spur Road. This work is taking place Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. There will be traffic control in place on Crenshaw Boulevard during work hours and at least one lane of traffic will be open in each direction at all times.
Pipeline work is expected to begin this summer on Crenshaw Boulevard and will continue working Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Crews will start at Crest Road and move toward the new pump station site, north of Silver Spur Road. This initial work includes surveying and equipment staging. At least one lane of traffic will be open in each direction at all times and all lanes will be open during non-work hours.
