November 1, 2018

Work on Palos Verdes Drive North, between Palos Verdes Drive East and Montecillo Drive, is now expected to continue until the week of November 12 from Monday to Friday, between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. There will be at least one lane of traffic open in each direction at all times, with lanes reopening after work hours.

Construction on Palos Verdes Drive North, between Dapplegray Lane and Palos Verdes Drive East, continues from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. There will be at least one lane of traffic open in each direction at all times, with all lanes open during non-work hours.

Pipeline installation on Montecillo Drive, between Encanto Drive and Palos Verdes Drive North, is ongoing. Work is taking place from Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. There will be at least one lane of traffic open in each direction at all times, with lanes reopening after work hours.

Work in the Dapplegray Elementary School access road, which leads to the Rolling Hills Little League ballfield, continues from Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are working closely with the Rolling Hills Little League and Dapplegray Elementary School to coordinate all necessary details as the access road remains closed for construction.

Crews will be conducting nightwork on Palos Verdes Drive North, from Dapplegray Elementary School to Dapplegray Lane, to complete minor finishing work and reduce the number of plates in the area. Work is projected to begin in mid-November from Monday to Friday, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

In the coming weeks, residents will start to see crews clearing the area around the new Pump Station on Crenshaw Boulevard, north of Silver Spur Road, as part of preparatory work. Construction for the new pump station is expected to begin in mid-November and continue through the end of 2019.

A reminder that the Palomino Ranchos Bridle Trail, between the ballfield and Rolling Hills Road, remains closed to the public as work continues in the trail. For a map of anticipated trail closures and route detours, visit the equestrian page

Please note that the construction dates provided are estimates, not exact deadlines, and the actual duration of night work may change based on a number of factors, including unknowable field circumstances.
