On Tuesday, July 21, crews expect to conduct permanent paving of the steel plate area at the end of Lariat Lane, near 3554 Lariat Lane, and speed hump installation along Lariat Lane, which will both require heavy equipment on the road. This work will take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., for approximately one day.
- Residents may experience limited access to the road while this work is underway so we encourage you to move your vehicles (e.g. further east on Lariat Lane, near Rolling Hills Road) before 7 a.m. on July 21 to avoid any construction-related delays traveling to and from your home.
- Luke’s Presbyterian Church will not be available to park in because crews will also be paving the entrance to this area.
- We will confirm with you via email and text on Monday, July 20, that work is taking place the following day so you are able to move your cars and plan accordingly.
Once this work is complete, crews will continue finishing final activities, including punch list items and trail restoration, over the next few weeks. As we have shared previously, as soon as all work is done and we are absolutely sure that there will not be additional project-related heavy construction traffic on Lariat Lane, we will have a third party expert conduct an inspection of the roadway to determine if the construction traffic caused any damage to the repaved road. Any repairs that this inspection deems necessary will be made.
As a reminder, all construction timing is estimated and may change based on several factors, including unforeseeable field circumstances. We’ll continue to keep you updated on ongoing work.
