What are you doing to improve construction-related traffic on Crenshaw and Hawthorne boulevards?

A:

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by ongoing construction. We are working closely with the City of Rancho Palos Verdes, City of Rolling Hills Estates, and our traffic engineer consultant to identify solutions to help improve traffic flow on Crenshaw and Hawthorne boulevards. There is traffic control personnel stationed in the intersections impacted by our work to facilitate traffic movement. The City of Rancho Palos Verdes has adjusted the timing of signal lights at the intersections of Hawthorne Boulevard and Indian Peak Road as well as Hawthorne Boulevard and Highridge Road to optimize traffic flow through these areas. We are also working with the City of Rolling Hills Estates to make necessary adjustments to the traffic signal light at Hawthorne Boulevard and Silver Spur Road.
